The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Authority has announced Radiusen systems as the winner of the design and accomplish contract for its Chemical & Bio threats detection and mitigation system.

The first contract is worth over 8 million yuan (CNY), which is the biggest deal in key infrastructure protection applications in China.

The authority said, “since the bridge connects Hongkong, Macau, and Zhuhai, the three big cities in south China, there are extensive vehicles and passages flowing over the bridge. The inspection and security checking task is a big challenge for us.”

Radiusen’s total solution for chemicals and biothreats early detection and alarm will help customer to reduce their risk caused by immigration entry.

The contract is expected to begin this year with project completion scheduled for 2019. 

The Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge is the world’s longest crossing sea bridge.
